No, shared adventures, wild and free,

No, share of nought but misery.

No, common aim, to tie and bind,

No trace of love, all left behind.

 

No, hope to rescue what you had,

No, chance to mend what's all gone bad.

No questions answered, answers given,

No chance your sins will be forgiven.

 

No, light ahead, the tunnels dark,

No glimmer, love won't strike a spark.

No warm embrace to make your day,

No love, no love to lead your way.
