FOREST

Chainsaws buzz, like a hive of bees,

Signals death to a thousand trees.

Mankinds lust for wealth and power,

Hastens mankinds final hour.

Mankinds need to "have it all",

See the age old forest fall.

Pollute, destroy, increase construction,

Lead to planet earth's destruction.

Greed and avarice, mans desires,

Fuel our planets final fires.

Now we must act, to halt our fate,

To do our bit, to pull our weight.

Mother Earth is dying fast,

Her every breath could be the last.

Without our help and very quick,

Our planets clock, will cease to tick.

The warning signs have all been posted,

The letters written clear.

It's up to us to save the Earth

And failures cost is dear.
